My Step-by-Step Design Process:

• User Research & Domain Pains: Mapped critical user challenges, focusing on physical tracking limitations, unpredictable swarming sounds, theft/tilt threats, and environmental parameters like humidity and temperature.

• UX Architecture & Strategy: Formed user behaviors using User Journeys (UJM) and User Flows to define the entire data-sync logic between physical hardware sensors and the mobile client.

• Scalable Visual UI & Craft: Designed the comprehensive Design System and brand identity from scratch using a signature honeycomb grid. Built a massive, custom iconography system to represent diverse sensor states, environmental metrics, and bee behavior patterns, complete with fully responsive light and dark modes.

• Usability Testing & Focus Groups: Conducted real-world field validation with a dedicated user focus group, directly iterating on the app's interfaces to maximize overall product quality, responsiveness, and outdoor usability.
